Art Psychotherapist and Family Practitioner

I’m Charlie, I qualified as an art psychotherapist from the University of Roehampton in 2016. I have loved working with all the children I have met - together we find creative ways to safely make sense of their experiences and their place in the world. I am trained in understanding non-verbal communication. I support children and young people to explore feelings that can be difficult or scary to put into words.

In 2022 I qualified as a family practitioner (from Kings College, London) where I was able to expand my practice to work with the whole family around the child or young person. In sessions I facilitate helpful conversations that get to the root of whats going on and support the family to make lasting changes. I am qualified in level 1 DDP.

I have worked across a broad range of client groups such as adoption and special guardianship, youth offenders, schools and community groups.

Prior to this I trained as a textile designer but now enjoy getting messy with all sorts of paint and art materials.

I am HCPC registered and a member of the British Association of Art Therapists.
