We understand the importance of protecting our customers’ personal information. We hold personal data for reasons explained in our privacy notice - the legal requirement under GDPR.
Here is an overview:
We keep information about our customers of the local food round. We need this information to process produce orders, coordinate deliveries, manage payments, and for any further communications required to maintain our customer service standards.
We keep customers Name, Email Address, Postal Address, and Phone Number.
The data is stored in our secure management system, hosted by the ‘Boxmaster’ system provider. The Apricot CIC is the Data Controller of this information for which it is responsible. Partner systems are employed to manage payments as explained in our privacy notice.
The data is retained by our system whilst you remain our customer. The data is held for a period of one year after a customer informs us they no longer want to receive our services, or for the time necessary to resolve any issues regarding outstanding balances a customer might have. Data is held for this period in case there are queries about past transactions that require a reviewing history. Customers have the right to ask us to remove their information from our systems; we can be expected to do so within a reasonable time frame.
