Over the last 15 years I've worked across a broad range of jobs as a carer, finance administrator, a Trust fundraiser and a gardener. I've been lucky enough to work with some incredible people and see some breathtakingly beautiful places. I've lived in Suffolk, Yorkshire, Norfolk, Powys and I've now settled in Devon.

I'm a trained gardener and I love to create a space, my favourite was my beloved tiny garden in Norwich city centre. I still return there to care for it and I'm currently training my friend how to tend to it, as well as shaping it to reflect their personality.

Being creative helps me feel grounded and reconnect with myself. I make quilts, embroider, make clothes and more recently have been painting when I feel inspired to do so. I remind myself often that 'I am allowed to spend time creating things, even when they are not beautiful'.

You'll find me with a good coffee or in a green space and on really good days, both.
